Job summary

Troon's Ka'anapali Golf Course in Lahaina, Hawaii, is seeking a full-time Greenskeeper I to support the maintenance of playing surfaces and surrounding landscapes. You will work with a team to enhance member and guest experiences while growing your knowledge of golf course operations.

This hands-on role emphasizes reliable, skilled turf and landscape care, irrigation, and routine maintenance, with opportunities to advance within a global leader in golf and resort management.

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
• Ability to give oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Waters tees, greens and fairways
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Compensation:

$23.80 per hour

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course
• Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations

• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
