Job summary

Hilton Boca Raton Suites is seeking a service‑oriented Houseman to join our housekeeping team in Boca Raton, FL. The role supports the housekeeping department, assists in linen handling, trash removal and public area maintenance to uphold Hilton CleanStay standards.

Responsibilities include delivering supplies, cleaning assigned areas, and assisting with guest requests. Previous hotel experience is preferred. Weekend work and ability to lift 20–50 lbs are required for this full‑time position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Previous hotel/housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop and lift 20–50 lbs during an 8‑hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep all assigned public and heart of house areas clean and neat.
• Deliver clean linen and housekeeping supplies to linen closets and housekeepers.
• Strip bed linens and remove trash from checkout rooms as needed.
• Collect and deliver dirty linen to laundry and dirty dishware to the kitchen.
• Collect trash and recycling from carts and dispose of properly.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, polish and clean hallways, elevators, and public areas.
• Flip mattresses quarterly.
• Respond to radio calls for guest requests and supplies as needed.
• Prepare guest rooms and assist with guest service when required.
• Perform special tasks from management (e.g., shampooing carpeting, cleaning ceilings).

The Hilton Boca Raton Suites is seeking a service-oriented Houseman to join their team!

This position of a Houseperson will perform all tasks of the Housekeeping department to maintain the cleanliness and Hilton CleanStay standards for the hotel. This position will assist housekeepers in the removal of linens and trash from the guest rooms. The Houseman will help maintain all public areas and assist in any special projects to maintain the hotel premises in a clean and safe manner to promote a positive and safe environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Keep all assigned public and heart of house areas, clean and neat, free from dust, dirt and trash.
• Deliver clean linen and other housekeeping supplies to linen closets and housekeepers.
• Strip bed linens and remove trash from checkout room as needed.
• Collect and deliver from the floors dirty linen to laundry and dirty dishware and glasses to the kitchen.
• Collect trash and recycling from housekeeping carts, guest rooms, collection areas and dispose of properly.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, polish and clean hallways, elevators, landing and public area as needed or required.
• Flip mattresses quarterly.
• Answer radio calls to deliver supplies for guest requests as needed and Housekeeping Supervisors needs.
• Prepare guest rooms, make-up rollaways or service guest as needed if required.
• Perform special assigned tasks from manager, i.e. shampoo carpeting, cleaning of ceiling fans.

Requirements

• Work Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
• Read and communicate in English.
• Walk, stand, bend, stoop, lift and carry 20-50 lbs. consistently during an 8-hour shift.
