Hotel experience preferred.
This position is responsible for supporting housekeepers and laundry personnel. Responsibilities include stocking housekeeping closets with linen and supplies, delivering linen and supplies to housekeepers, and removing dirty linens and trash from hotel rooms. This position also assists with laundry responsibilities such as sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen and towels. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and contributing to the success of the housekeeping team.
This is a physically demanding position. Employees stand/walk for long periods of time; climb stairs; reach, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and work with hands; encounter dust, hair, lint, and dirt; smell odors to identify the source to clean; work in small/tight spaces (between beds and walls in hotel rooms, storage closets, etc.); lift or move at least 30 pounds; and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 75 pounds.
Stock housekeeping closets with linen, amenities, and other supplies. Remove dirty linens and trash from hotel rooms, housekeeping carts, and hallways.
