Job Title: Houseman or Porter

Job Responsibilities

1. Support room attendants with supplies and linen management.
2. Help with linen stripping for room attendants.
3. Vacuum, spot-clean, and shampoo guest hallways.
4. Maintain elevator tracks and other equipment.
5. Ensure cleanliness standards across all assigned areas, including guest floors and common areas.
6. Report damaged or missing furniture and fixtures.
7. Assist with furniture moving, wall washing, drape cleaning, and other cleaning tasks.
8. Maintain cleanliness of guest foyers, corridors, and service areas.
9. Replace guest closet linens and robes daily.
10. Manage garbage collection and disposal.
11. Maintain cleanliness of service elevators and other hotel facilities.
12. Assist with deep cleaning projects and during high-volume periods.
13. Respond to guest needs and special requests.
14. Follow security procedures for lost and found items.
15. Operate hotel shuttle service when required and maintain related logs and cleanliness.
16. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
17. Attend training sessions and contribute to a positive hotel culture.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic math skills for inventory and log maintenance.
• Outgoing personality and good interpersonal skills.
• One or two years of relevant experience preferred.
