Job summary

Holiday Inn Romulus is seeking a Houseman to respond promptly to guest requests and assist maintenance reporting. You will identify issues in public areas or guest rooms and perform tasks to keep guestrooms and hotel spaces clean and orderly.

You will receive linen supplies, remove trash from room attendants, and patrol floors at the start and end of shifts to manage newspapers, trash, and soiled linen. You’ll also pickup clean linen and keep par stock at floor pantries.

• Pickup clean linen and refill linen stock on each floor pantry.

As Houseman, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.

Removes trash collected by room attendants.

Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.

Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
