Job summary

Episcopal Health Services, Inc. in New York seeks a full-time Housekeeping Worker to maintain a clean hospital environment. You will clean patient and non-patient areas, assist with linen handling, and support ongoing sanitation efforts.

Shift and hours vary; pay range is $25.13 - $26.46 per hour, with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. Previous cleaning experience preferred, HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Equivalency required.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing.
• Experience with cleaning equipment, such as buffing machines, wall washing machines, etc preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas including patient and non-patient rooms, exam rooms, bathrooms, nursing stations, ancillary rooms, elevators, corridors, offices, and work areas.
• Remove, clean, and re-hang cubical curtains and window drapes.
• Accurately count incoming linens, prepare exchange carts for delivery, and maintain accurate linen delivery records.
• Deliver clean linens and remove soiled linens from assigned floors.
