Job summary

Salamander Middleburg is seeking a Turndown Attendant to help create Forbes Five-Star guest experiences through meticulous evening turndown and room presentation. You will prepare guest rooms, refresh bedrooms and bathrooms, and participate in quality-control checks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and with a team to deliver personalized luxury service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping/guest room experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform evening turndown service in guest rooms according to Forbes Five-Star standards.
• Refresh and reset guest bedrooms and bathrooms to ensure a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment.
• Conduct self-inspections to ensure all guest rooms meet established quality standards.
• Organize and stock housekeeping carts, supply rooms, and linen closets.
• Complete daily assignments and required documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, and room discrepancies to Housekeeping leadership.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special service needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and support other housekeeping team members as needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.

Position Summary
