Job summary

The Dollywood Company is seeking a Housekeeping Trainer for Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa. This full-time year-round role focuses on creating and implementing the housekeeping training program, safety and chemical training, and supervising floor inspectors and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year experience as a room inspector or supervisor in hotel/hospitality.
• High school diploma required; college preferred.
• Strong supervisory, communication, planning and organizing skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
• Background screening and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements training for housekeepers, public space, housemen and inspectors with safety and chemical compliance in mind.
• Conducts departmental and on-the-job training of housekeeping staff and maintains a log from hire date through tenure.
• Creates score boards for spot audits and inspections and maintains logs.
• Supervises floor inspectors to ensure high cleanliness quality and SOP compliance.
• Assists supervisors and managers in supervising hosts and ensuring a positive work environment.
• Motivates and counsels hosts for excellence and continual improvement.
• Inspects overall cleanliness and condition of rooms to meet quality standards; resolves issues.
• Inspects room electronics and report problems to maintenance.
• Oversees annual deep cleaning and inventory processes.
