Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Oak Crest Village is seeking a Housekeeping Team Lead for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Mon-Fri, with every other weekend) in Parkville, MD. This role provides leadership to the housekeeping team and ensures a clean, safe environment for residents within our gated retirement community.

You'll supervise daily tasks, mentor staff, and coordinate work orders while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and support to housekeeping staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned areas.
• Complete work orders and follow schedules.
• Assist with setup and moving furniture as needed.
• Schedule and supervise daily tasks.
• Train, mentor and coach new employees.

Job description

Location: Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living.

Join our team as a Housekeeping Team Lead to support our gated retirement community. All of our clients live within our community, so there is no travel involved!

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including every other weekend.

Compensation: Commensurate for experience between $16.00 - $18.00 hourly.

How you will make an impact

• Providing leadership, direction, and support to the Housekeepers under the guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of assigned areas
• Completing assigned work orders and following a detailed schedule
• May be asked to assist with set-ups, requiring movement of furniture
• Scheduling and supervising daily work assignments
• Training, mentoring and coaching new employees

What you will need

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Housekeeping
• Previous experience in a leadership role (preferred)
• Must have excellent, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations
• Ability to lead a team
