Job summary

Erickson Senior Living at Oak Crest Village in Parkville, MD, is seeking a Housekeeper for a full-time evening shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) with occasional weekends. You will clean resident homes, public areas, classrooms, and support trash removal, using specialized equipment to maintain a pristine community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles.
• Ability to demonstrate professional interactions with residents, family members, staff, vendors.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Community using specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures.
• Clean lobbies and living rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, de-cluttering, and trash removal.
• Clean classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, boards, tables, chairs.
• Assist with collection, bagging, and disposal of trash and replace liners.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces, including extraction, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

Schedule

Full-time evening shift, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, including every-other weekend (40 hours/week).

Compensation

Commensurate with experience between $15.00 - $17.00 hourly.

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need
