Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP in Honolulu seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor at the Kalia Theatre project. You will administer housekeeping functions, coordinate daily assignments and supervise room attendants to meet hotel standards and guest satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2–3 years of hotel or related experience with supervisory responsibilities, and the ability to stand for long shifts. This full-time, hourly position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years progressive hotel/related field experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Facilities Attendant work quality daily.
• VIP room inspection and report availability to Front Office.
• Oversee closing of floors and restock of attendants' carts.
• Ensure daily assignment records are completed and signed off.
• Maintain key control.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Monitor cleanliness of carts, linen closets, and stairways.
• Oversee daily assignment of duties for Facilities Attendants.
• Carry pager/radio to stay in contact with Front Office/Engineering.
• Initiate and track work orders for repairs/maintenance.
• Assist with training of Housekeeping staff.
• May clean rooms as needed.
• Ensure completion of cleaning projects biannually.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
