Job summary

The Ivy Hotel in Baltimore seeks a dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, inspect rooms and public areas, and coordinate assignments. This hands-on role requires effective communication, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory housekeeping experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work well with a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs.
• Assist with daily assignments, room readiness, and team coordination.
• Train and support housekeeping staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Monitor and restock linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Communicate guest requests, room status updates, and maintenance concerns to management.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and ensure proper handling of cleaning products.
• Assist with cleaning duties as needed to support daily operations.
