Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group seeks a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor for Hyatt Place Lincoln to lead daily housekeeping operations and train staff, ensuring a consistently clean and welcoming environment for guests. This hands-on, hourly role supports the Housekeeping Manager and requires weekend work.

The candidate will lead by example, assist with scheduling, inspect rooms, and handle guest requests with professionalism while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hotel, resort, or similar environment.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail with high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as required.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing cleaning tasks.
• Effective English communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable and self-motivated, able to work independently when the supervisor is away.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring areas are cleaned and maintained to standards.
• Train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff on procedures and safety.
• Assist with scheduling to meet business needs, including weekends.
• Act as person in charge when the Housekeeping Manager is away, making decisions.
• Clean guest rooms and public areas as needed.
• Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness and safety, provide feedback.
• Organize supplies, storage, and carts for efficiency and safety.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment with the Housekeeping Manager.
• Address guest requests and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.
