Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor at our Arlington property. The role focuses on leading housekeeping staff to deliver clean, safe, and welcoming guestrooms, while controlling costs and maintaining Highgate standards.

You will mentor staff, enforce training programs, manage schedules, and coordinate with other departments to ensure high guest satisfaction and smooth operations at Homewood Suites Arlington.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, or a 4-year degree with 1+ year of related experience, or a 2-year degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline housekeeping staff according to Highgate Hotel SOPs.
• Establish and maintain a regular cleaning program and detailed checklists for each position.
• Balance and close room status daily and ensure accuracy with PMS reports.
• Prepare employee schedules according to business forecast and payroll guidelines.
• Maintain cost controls and ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
