Job summary

Residence Inn Claremont is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, ensure rooms and public areas meet our standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation, and motivate the team for consistent performance across shifts.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of housekeeping experience with supervisory duties, knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and inventory management, plus strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or management coursework preferred.
• 2+ years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory duties.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Active role requiring walking, lifting, and room inspections throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve departmental goals.
• Conduct daily room inspections to ensure brand and Hotel's standards are met.
• Assist in scheduling, inventory control, and ordering of supplies.
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members regularly.
• Coordinate closely with front desk and maintenance teams for room readiness and repairs.
