Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Houston to oversee Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons to maintain high cleanliness standards across guest rooms, corridors and public spaces.

The role requires leading a team, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and adapting shifts based on operational needs 24/7. Previous supervisory experience and a High School diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Minimum six months supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report.
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of subordinates.
• Ability to provide information and answer hotel guest and colleague questions.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise room attendants and housepersons to ensure cleanliness in guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces.
• Inspect VIP rooms, guest rooms, and corridors for cleanliness and appearance.
• Train and monitor performance of housekeeping staff and provide guidance.
• Maintain clean, neat, and stocked carts and linen closets.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and safety issues to management.
• Assist with special guest requests and daily checkouts.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety and security procedures.
