Job summary

Sonesta Denver (Downtown) is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to support the Housekeeping Manager in supervising the housekeeping and laundry operation. You will inspect rooms, train room attendants, and may perform cleaning duties to meet brand standards.

The role emphasizes delivering Sonesta Service, coordinating with shift teams, managing supplies, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years housekeeping experience including some supervisory training/experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Reading and writing abilities are required to document tasks, order supplies, and read manuals including safety information.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients.
• Partner with the Housekeeping Manager to recruit, develop, manage and monitor performance.
• Inspect all assigned suites and public areas to ensure cleanliness and repair meet guest expectations.
• Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct on corrective action; provide retraining as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
