Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for Hyatt Regency Sonoma in Santa Rosa, CA. The role oversees housekeeping staff, provides training, coaching, and performance feedback, and ensures exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring, conducting evaluations, assigning tasks, and managing inventory while upholding safety standards and loss prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate staff; address discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Issue assignments to staff and review special requests to ensure smooth operation.
• Respond to guest requests and manage inventory to control expenses.
