Job summary

Artesia Palms Care Center is seeking a diligent housekeeping supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations inside and around our community, ensuring high cleanliness standards and resident safety. You will coordinate staff, plan schedules, and inspect all resident and public areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and prior supervision experience. Training, budgeting awareness, and strict safety compliance with MSDS/OSHA/EPA are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training.
• Experience in supervision and scheduling preferred.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is a plus.
• Must possess ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff and coordinates staffing schedules to ensure proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residences, and grounds.
• Plans and schedules cleaning programs including annuals, move-ins, and carpet cleaning.
• Monitors inventory levels and orders equipment and supplies for the department.
• Provides training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel.
• Ensures safe handling of cleaning chemicals and compliance with MSDS, OSHA, EPA, and related rules.
