Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of progressive experience in hotel or related field.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand for long periods and walk long distances.
• Ability to multi task.
• Clear English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Approach encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
• Supervise and inspect housekeeping duties and room attendants in their section.
• Inspect guest rooms for quality and cleanliness to meet brand standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Schedule, train and coach room attendants; prepare daily assignments.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Guest Services on room discrepancies and maintenance needs.
• Participate in hotel and departmental meetings; assist with payroll as needed.
