Job Summary

Assist in the operations of the housekeeping staff, promoting a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets, and minimal expenses.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health standards.
  • Assign tasks to staff, review special requests, and ensure smooth operation.
  • Manage supplies and inventory, controlling expenses.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Log items into Lost & Found and handle inquiries.
  • Implement emergency procedures to protect staff, guests, and assets.
  • Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.
  • Perform duties of the Houseperson when needed.
  • Act as closing supervisor when required.
  • Perform other duties, including cleaning rooms if necessary.
Required Abilities
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-motivated with an even disposition.
  • Maintain professional appearance and manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests.
  • Team player, willing to assist co-workers.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Move throughout the building, bend, stoop, and reach to assist staff.
