Responsibilities of the Store Manager
- Recruit, coach, develop, and retain store team members
- Create exceptional customer experiences to generate raving fans
- Provide professional recommendations on tire purchases, repairs, and maintenance
- Maintain enthusiasm and responsiveness to customers in-store and over the phone
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with support departments
- Manage inventory, operational standards, and parts ordering
- Oversee all aspects of P&L, including sales, gross margin, and expenses
- Stay updated on product lines, services, sales techniques, and compliance programs
- Adhere to legal and company policies, including OSHA requirements
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Off-the-Road (OTR) tire service, sales, or management with proven industry expertise
- Deep knowledge of OTR and Industrial tire products, sizes, specifications, and applications
- Willingness to attend professional development programs, including travel for conferences and classes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting at least 50 lbs., and other activities like pulling, pushing, bending, and standing
