Job summary

Manor Lake Horizon is seeking a supervisor to help manage the housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations within the community. You will work with the Maintenance Director to ensure the facilities meet safety, sanitation, and comfort standards for residents.

The role requires coordinating multiple departments, supervising staff, and maintaining equipment and supplies to support daily operations and resident well-being. Prior experience with senior communities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Employment contingent on background screening.
• Experience in environmental control and operation of housekeeping equipment practices.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Professionalism, empathy, patience and effective interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and maintaining housekeeping, laundry and maintenance services.
• Coordinate housekeeping, laundry and maintenance activities with other departments as directed.
• Inspect and maintain storage rooms, linen closets, utility and janitorial areas.
• Identify and classify routine and job-related functions for housekeeping tasks.
• Ensure clean, safe environment and operable equipment and supplies.
• Maintain supplies, disinfectants, and equipment to meet needs.
