Job summary

StoneBridge Maryland Heights is seeking a Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments in a healthcare environment. You will ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and comfortable, coordinating with nursing and maintenance as needed.

The role requires a friendly, communicative leader capable of guiding staff, ensuring standards, and assisting with inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare environment in Environmental Services preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills required.
• Effective written and oral communication in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping department’s day-to-day activities.
• Assist the director in setting housekeeping standards.
• Schedule work assignments and cleaning schedules; revise as needed.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff.
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and attractive; maintain compliance with safety and fire protocols.
