Job summary

Premier Healthcare Consultants is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping services at our facility. The role involves staffing, training, and maintaining cleaning standards across rooms, bathrooms and common areas to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.

The supervisor will recruit and orient staff, monitor performance, and ensure timely evaluations. This position emphasizes adherence to facility procedures and a positive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year of housekeeping and/or laundry experience in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains staff to carry out housekeeping functions.
• Ensures resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas are cleaned daily.
• Oversees cleaning of walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxing of floors.
• Keeps housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times.
• Supervises disposal of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous materials, per policies.
• May perform housekeeping duties during emergencies or staffing shortages.
