Job summary

Hotel Mockingbird in Dallas is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards across guest rooms and public areas.

The role reports to the Director of Housekeeping, with non-exempt status. The ideal candidate will supervise attendants, coordinate schedules, and maintain quality control while supporting training and payroll budgeting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and basic computer skills are a plus.
• Experience supervising housekeeping teams and guest services mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality.
• Supervise staff, conduct inspections, and support training and compliance.
• Assist in assigning room attendants and support staff per occupancy and schedules.
• Ensure ready rooms are reported to the front desk by 10:00 am and by 4:00 pm.
• Monitor staff performance, enforce safety procedures, and manage supplies.
• Maintain payroll budgets and generate daily/weekly reports.
• Coordinate linen handling, inventory, and supply logistics.
• Ensure proper clocking-in, uniform compliance, and guest satisfaction.
