Job Overview

Supervise the housekeeping staff to promote a safe environment and deliver quality service, maximizing guest satisfaction, protecting assets, and minimizing expenses.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff, providing communication, training, coaching, counseling, and performance feedback.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Assign tasks to staff, managing special requests and areas of focus for smooth operations.
• Manage inventory by issuing supplies at shift start and controlling expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Implement emergency procedures to protect staff, guests, and hotel assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of housekeeping operations and supervisory skills.

Physical Demands

• Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.; carry up to 35 lbs.
• Continuous standing and movement; climb stairs; occasional kneeling and bending.
