Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons, ensuring all guest rooms and public spaces meet demanding cleanliness standards. The role requires leading shifts, coordinating tasks, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will visually inspect areas, train staff, manage supplies and respond to guest requests while adhering to safety and security policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience.
• Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms.
• Ability to provide clear direction and guidance to subordinates.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to exercise judgment and control over subordinates' performance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct housekeeping tasks for room attendants, lobby attendants, and housepersons.
• Inspect VIP rooms, guest rooms, and corridors for cleanliness and appearance.
• Train and monitor performance; ensure all tasks are completed within the shift.
• Maintain clean, stocked carts and supply closets; oversee VIP supplies.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and unsafe conditions to management.
• Assist other housekeeping staff as needed and uphold safety procedures.
