Job summary

Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo in Florida is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure guest readiness across all units. You will supervise, train, and evaluate staff, communicate with guests and team members, and coordinate daily operations while upholding Westgate's service values.

The role requires strong English skills, attention to detail, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience with the ability to lead and support a team.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including data entry, email, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Prior experience with HotSOS or a property management system preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and support housekeeping team members while ensuring service and productivity standards are met.
• Assign daily duties and inspect completed work for accuracy, cleanliness, neatness, and compliance with company standards.
• Inspect and prepare clean units to ensure they are ready for guest occupancy.
• Communicate clearly with guests and Team Members, providing direction and responding to questions or concerns.
• Assist with training and development of new and existing housekeeping team members.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and follow up to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Identify and report engineering or maintenance issues according to established procedures.
• Support daily housekeeping operations and assist with additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead and support the housekeeping team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest service throughout the resort. This role is ideal for a natural leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, developing team members, and ensuring units are clean, prepared, and guest-ready.

Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business needs require.
