Job summary

Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo in Florida invites applicants for a Front Desk Supervisor role to lead daily front desk operations, oversee check-in/out, room assignments, and reservations while ensuring exceptional guest service.

You'll supervise and develop the Front Desk team, resolve guest concerns, and uphold Westgate's standards of hospitality in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment across 1,700 acres and a renowned rodeo program.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous Front Desk, hospitality, hotel, or resort experience required.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with hotel property management systems preferred.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, train Front Desk team members to deliver outstanding guest service.
  • Oversee daily Front Desk operations, including guest check-in, check-out, room assignments, and reservations.
  • Assist guests by resolving questions, concerns, and service recovery situations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare daily reports, review arrivals and departures, and monitor guest accounts and cash handling procedures.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other resort departments to ensure guest readiness, including VIP arrivals.
  • Create Front Desk schedules and conduct team meetings to communicate operational updates and service expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and quality service standards.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching, recognition, and accountability as needed.
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional Front Desk environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of the Front Desk while ensuring exceptional guest service from arrival through departure. This leadership role is responsible for supervising and developing the Front Desk team, supporting daily operations, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining Westgate's high standards of hospitality.

What You'll Do as a Front Desk Supervisor:
