Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Supervising, training, and scheduling housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensuring guest rooms and public spaces are clean, well-maintained, and meet established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including ordering replacements.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Ensuring all housekeeping staff adhere to safety and hygiene protocols and maintain a safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Addressing customer complaints and requests related to housekeeping services.
  • Inspections: Conducting regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Providing feedback to management on staff performance and operational issues.
  • Emergency Response: Handling housekeeping emergencies and resolving related issues promptly.
  • Budget Management: May be involved in managing the department budget and resources.
  • Communication:Maintaining effective communication with staff, other departments, and management.
