Job summary

Paycom, a leading payroll and HR solutions provider, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to support hotel operations and maintain high cleanliness standards.

You will supervise housekeeping staff, inspect rooms and public areas, complete daily reports, and cover duties as needed. This is a flexible, full-time role with weekends and holidays required in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience as Room Attendant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect completed guest rooms for cleanliness and rental status.
• Supervise housekeeping personnel to ensure timely completion of work.
• Complete daily report on cleanliness, rental status and maintenance needs.
• Occasionally perform room cleaning and related duties as needed.
• Flexible hours including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsible for all floors assigned. See that the Room Attendants have the proper and necessary equipment and supplies. Job requirements include high school diploma or equivalent with one year’s experience as Room Attendant. Ability to deal with guests and personnel with poise. Problem solving, reasoning, and training abilities. Reading, writing, mathematical abilities, including basic math. Must be unquestionably honest and dependable. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting and carrying, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, bending and able to walk stairs. Carrying and/or lifting approximately 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 200 pounds occurs infrequently.Duties to include, but not limited to:Inspect completed guest rooms for cleanliness and rental status.Supervise housekeeping personnel to assure timely and effective completion of work assignments through proper instruction and inspection of completed tasks.Complete a daily report that indicates the cleanliness, rental status, and required maintenance work for his/her assigned rooms.Assumes duties of Executive Housekeeper/Assistant Executive Housekeeper in their absence.If needed will also clean rooms, inspect or whatever role is necessary for the day.This is a working position and hours must be flexible to meet the demands of the business. That includes weekends, nights, holidays etc.
