Job summary

The McCormick Scottsdale, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team, develop procedures, and ensure a clean, safe environment for guests.

You will train staff, schedule shifts, perform regular inspections, coordinate with departments for events, and maintain records. A High school diploma is required; hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to train, supervise staff, and schedule shifts.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.

Position Overview

• Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the facility
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met

Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping services for events or special occasions
• Maintain records and prepare reports on housekeeping activities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning and floor care
• Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other departments
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards, knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies
