Job description

Join to apply for the Housekeeping Supervisor role at EOS Hospitality.

Position Overview: The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Housekeeping Manager and performs managerial functions, including supervision, coaching, and training of room and house attendants. Ensures all work meets departmental and hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee staff schedules, inspect and approve cleanliness of public areas and guest rooms, and ensure timely room turnover.
  2. Lead the housekeeping team, assign and review work, and maintain high-quality standards.
  3. Provide excellent customer service, respond to guest complaints, and develop strategies to enhance guest experience.
  4. Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance and repairs.
  5. Supervise staff duties, evaluate performance, and address disciplinary issues.
  6. Perform guest room cleaning when needed.

Position Requirements:

  1. Develop positive relationships with other departments.
  2. Motivate and inspire team members.
  3. Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
  4. Communicate effectively in English.
  5. Possess knowledge of hotel operations and have a proven leadership track record.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch.
  2. Lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs regularly.
  3. Stand and move actively for up to 8 hours.

Required Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of housekeeping experience.
  2. Fluent in English.
  3. Leadership qualities and a positive attitude.
  4. Experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
