Job summary

Holiday Inn Portland Airport is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, laundry, and public areas.

You will train, coach, and support team members, monitor supplies, and resolve guest concerns while ensuring adherence to Holiday Inn standards. Weekend/holiday flexibility and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependability, a positive attitude, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, laundry, and public areas.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure they meet Holiday Inn standards.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping team members.
• Monitor supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Help resolve guest concerns and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Step in to assist with cleaning when the team needs support.
• Promote teamwork, safe work practices, and a positive work environment.
