Job summary

Holiday Inn, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and uphold brand cleanliness and guest comfort across the hotel.

You will oversee room attendants, laundry, and public spaces, coordinate schedules, manage supplies, and train staff to deliver exceptional service while complying with safety standards. This on-site role requires flexible hours, including weekends, to ensure guest readiness.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Commitment to high cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team including room attendants, laundry staff, and public space attendants.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and hotel spaces.
• Coordinate daily room assignments and cleaning schedules based on occupancy levels.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and department budgets.
• Train and coach staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and guest service expectations.
• Respond to guest requests or concerns related to room cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
