• Records data on assignments, personnel actions, and timecards; prepares reports.
• Investigates and resolves complaints about housekeeping service and equipment.
• Performs other duties as requested by ownership and management.

Responsibilities

• Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies; and issues supplies and equipment to staff.
• Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
• Examines building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to management.
• Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
• Establishes standards and procedures for the work of housekeeping staff.
• Records data regarding work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, and prepares periodic reports.
• Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.
• Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Must be able to frequently: bend, stoop, kneel, and stand through shift.
• Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel needs. Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and colleague information.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
