Job summary

Hyatt Regency Portland Convention Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our full-time housekeeping team on-site. You will maintain guest rooms to Hyatt standards, perform cleaning tasks, and ensure guest satisfaction through attention to detail and reliable service.

The position offers an hourly wage and opportunities to grow within a premium hotel environment, with comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs of weight.
• Ability to push and pull a cart up to 50lbs of weight.
• Full open availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Please join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeper.

The hourly rate is $22.00/hour.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and making beds.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues or damage to management.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Adhere to established procedures for handling lost and found items and guest belongings.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping team members and departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operations.
