Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Director, ensures proper staffing and efficient performance of EVS staff to uphold cleanliness, infection control, and patient safety standards.

What you will do in this role:

• Build a positive EVS team environment by assisting in hiring, training, and staff development.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and supplies according to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to work in both fast-paced and slow-paced environments as part of a team.
• Ability to operate autonomously on various tasks.
• Mobility to move, lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies.
• Two years of EVS Technician experience; EVS lead or supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and document accurately.
• Ability to operate, use, and train staff on departmental equipment.
