Job description

Summary:

Supervise Guest Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, and Housekeeping Attendants. Assign job tasks, inspect clean rooms, and continuously train staff to ensure excellent guest service. Requires moving supplies to multiple ranch venues and operating ranch vehicle or ranger.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times, exceeding expectations, and understanding the mission and brand standards.
  2. Ensure staff adherence to brand standards and pass brand standards audits.
  3. Supervise housekeeping staff, complete scheduling, oversee staffing levels, and ensure service standards are met within labor models.
  4. Assign duties efficiently, oversee department in absence of the manager, and manage inventory, ordering, and payroll.
  5. Ensure associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms, and are trained in safety standards and equipment operation.
  6. Assist in hiring, training, and resolving associate issues, following disciplinary policies.
  7. Enforce safety standards, handle chemical labeling, and promote a safe environment.
  8. Promote teamwork, recognize successes, and conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
  9. Know emergency procedures, laws concerning trespassers, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  10. Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management, and respond promptly to pages and calls.
  11. Inspect guestrooms and public areas daily for cleanliness and readiness, and ensure proper guest entry procedures.
  12. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of linen rooms, laundry areas, storage, and carts.
  13. Ensure proper operation of laundry and housekeeping equipment, and train staff accordingly.
  14. Maintain productivity standards, schedule meetings, and communicate room readiness to the front desk.
  15. Assist with cleaning and restocking as needed, and ensure security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
  16. Utilize service recovery processes, report unsafe conditions, and perform shift duties.
  17. Adhere to all company policies, including emergency procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
  18. Requires moving supplies to ranch venues and operating ranch vehicles or rangers.
  19. Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Other Information

Skills required include passing certification tests and possessing a valid driver’s license.
