Duties and Expectations
- Guest Relations: Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
- Name Use: Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel properly welcomed.
- Guest Satisfaction: All team members work together to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores.
- Recovery: Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency.
- Hotel Knowledge: Strong knowledge of all features and amenities of the hotel.

Section Two: Role Specific Duties and Expectations
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for cleaning and managing efficient operations of the hotel, including rooms, public areas, and laundry. In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, they assume managerial duties and may need to clean guest rooms and public spaces.
Other Duties
- Manage Guest Request Log: Review daily and address issues proactively.
- VIP Management: Monitor VIP guests and special requests.
- Oversee Housekeeping Team: Conduct daily briefings in absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
- Room Inspection: Ensure quality and cleanliness of rooms and public spaces.
- Storage Rooms: Keep all storage and mechanical rooms organized and clean.
- Pre-Cleaning Duties: Stock supplies and prepare housekeeping carts.
- Trash and Linen: Remove and replace as needed.
- Deep Cleaning: Conduct as necessary with maintenance support.
- Meetings: Hold daily team meetings.
- Supply Management: Order and maintain stock of supplies.
- Inventory: Conduct regular inventory checks.
- Maintenance Requests: Monitor and follow up on work orders.
- Room Status: Balance and resolve discrepancies nightly.
- Lost and Found: Maintain policies and procedures.
- Chemical Safety: Ensure proper use of hazardous chemicals per OSHA standards.
- Key Control: Maintain secure key system.

Section Four: Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in hospitality or related field preferred; supervisory experience a plus.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.

- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Desire to serve guests.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Willing to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctuality: Arrive and leave on time, work breaks as scheduled.
- Notify supervisor when calling out.
Physical Demands & Environment
Must be able to stand for long periods, operate equipment, lift up to 25 pounds, and inspect details visually.
