Job summary

AKAM in Miami, FL is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee all housekeeping operations for the association's common areas and facilities. This full-time role includes supervising staff and ensuring cleanliness across grounds, buildings, and recreational spaces.

The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with Sunday and Monday off, and requires leadership, reliability, and prior housekeeping supervisory experience in a similar setting.

Qualifications

• H.S Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Reliable and punctual with strong time management.
• Housekeeping experience, preferably in condo/HOA/hotel settings.
• Able to lift up to 30 lb.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean building by emptying trash, sweeping and cleaning surfaces.
• Dust furniture and surfaces.
• Assist guests with service requests when needed, ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
• Identify and report possible repairs.

Position overview: The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the general upkeep of all common property and facilities of the Association as they relate to the grounds, building, equipment, and recreational facilities. This role supervises all staff in the housekeeping department. This is a fulltime role: Tues thru Sat (Sun & Mon off) from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
