Pay starts at $18/hr - $20.00/hour, based on experience

The Housekeeping Supervisor role has a dual focus. The first is the daily management of the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, and oversight of operations. The second is performing routine housekeeping tasks as a housekeeper would. Typically, 40% of the time is spent supervising, and 60% performing housekeeping tasks.

Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., including working every other weekend and holiday.

Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and staff to ensure sanitation and a positive appearance for high customer satisfaction
• Interview and hire housekeeping staff
• Mentor and train staff on proper cleaning procedures for resident apartments and common areas
• Maintain work schedules for proper staffing coverage
• Conduct job performance evaluations
• Manage inventory of cleaning and linen supplies, and prepare linens

Housekeeping Supervisor Requirements:

• Experience in housekeeping and supervision
• Outgoing personality, strong communication, and customer service skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Current CPR certification preferred or willingness to train
• Ability to understand and speak English sufficiently for safe and efficient job performance
• Physical ability to perform job tasks
