Human Resources – Abuse Refuge Org

Job Description
  • Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and support staff.
  • Collaborate with the On & Offboarding Manager and HR Management.
  • Oversee a team of volunteers in onboarding and offboarding.
  • Develop strategies to streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure all documentation for new volunteers is complete.
  • Coordinate with the offboarding team to remove inactive volunteers from platforms.
  • Communicate with department managers about new team members.
  • Work with recruiting and other HR Supervisors to share best practices and coordinate initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Oversee daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide performance evaluations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field (preferred).
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and policies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Capable of working in a high-paced, stressful environment.
  • Availability to volunteer 10-15 hours per week.
