Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor will have the opportunity to lead and inspect rooms, ensuring guest rooms are comfortable, inviting, and clean.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading, training, and supervising Room Attendants and Housepersons in the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain financial profitability.

Your duties include:

1. Leading, training, and supervising Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
2. Assessing inventory, assigning rooms for cleaning, and inspecting them.
3. Verifying and reporting the status and discrepancies of rooms.
4. Monitoring stock rooms, carts, and inventories.
5. Coordinating with Engineering/Property Operations for maintenance and repairs related to guest rooms and public areas.
6. Performing Room Attendant and/or Houseperson duties as needed.
7. Inspecting 25 to 80 rooms per day.
8. Cleaning rooms when necessary.
9. Moving and operating large objects such as housekeeping carts, furniture, linen bags, vacuum cleaners, and inventory boxes.
10. Operating a computer and using relevant software.
