Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, overseeing all duties within a facility or on a team. This position emphasizes pride in service and ensuring a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.

The supervisor will train and manage staff, handle guest inquiries, maintain supply rooms, monitor budgets, and communicate progress to leadership. A strong focus on customer service, organization, and attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping staff or related team is preferred.
• Ability to supervise laundry staff and coordinate daily operations.
• Strong customer service focus and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed
• Supervises the duties and tasks of laundry staff
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supplies according to a budget
• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services
• Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards
• Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards
• Organizes all staff during the day and hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff
• Assists guests with questions and basic requests
• Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional
• Trains new housekeepers and support staff
• Meets with company officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues
