Job summary

Saint Peters Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented facility. This role emphasizes sanitation, infection control, and a positive environment for residents.

You will assign tasks, ensure cleanliness, follow safety procedures, and participate in staff meetings and training. Candidates should have basic education, English proficiency, leadership ability, and prior housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to speak and write English.

• Housekeeping experience.
• Ability to relate to residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to the housekeeping team
• Take responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of the facility
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in accordance with daily work assignments and established procedures
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish furnishings
• Clean floors and bathrooms as necessary and directed
• Spot check assigned vacant rooms and clean as needed
• Follow established safety and infection control practices when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies
• Clean work and supply carts and equipment as necessary
• Attend departmental and staff meetings, in-service educational classes, and on-the-job training programs as scheduled

Housekeeping Supervisor – Requirements:

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
