Your Job

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role involves maintaining a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment for residents and staff.

Principal Responsibilities

• Supervise all Housekeeping and Laundry personnel, manage daily operations, and control expenses.
• Assist in developing and implementing the Housekeeping Program and record-keeping systems.
• Train staff on cleaning, laundry, and maintenance tasks; inspect work for quality.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation for resident safety and comfort.
• Organize employee shifts and manage staffing replacements.
• Coordinate with residents, staff, and management on environmental service requests and infection control.
• Prepare schedules for housekeeping activities and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
• Conduct daily inspections to maintain standards and collaborate with infection control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 5 years supervisory experience in a commercial setting, with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• At least 2 years of experience in long-term care.
