Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor at the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center. You’ll lead a team of room attendants and public areas staff, model clean standards, coach on guest service, and ensure rooms and public spaces reflect Hyatt's hospitality.

This full-time, non-exempt role starts at $18.00/hour with opportunities for growth. Primary 1st shift, with some 2nd shift hours and weekends/holidays as occupancy dictates.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure Hyatt brand standards are met.
• Coordinate daily assignments and staffing priorities.
• Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping associates.
• Assist with performance coaching and documentation.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and service recovery opportunities.
• Oversee Lost & Found procedures.
• Monitor safety, security, and key control procedures.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and department administration.
• Step in to support the team as needed during peak occupancy.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Schedule & Pay

• Starting pay: $18.00/hour, with opportunities for growth based on experience
• Full-time, non-exempt (overtime eligible)
