Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor assists the Executive Housekeeper with overseeing the daily operations of both the housekeeping and laundry departments. This role ensures guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay. The supervisor coordinates and monitors housekeeping staff work, addresses issues that arise, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and service. The position also helps manage inventory, trains new employees, and implements procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants and housepersons
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are met
• Assign daily tasks and adjust staffing levels based on occupancy and operational needs
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high performance and service standards
• Assist with scheduling, payroll review, and timekeeping
• Address guest requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and coordinate with management on ordering needs

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality setting required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent required
